Responsible Gambling

Our commitment

Wheel Out is an information and review website. We want everyone who reads us to enjoy games such as Wheel Out safely, and to stay in control. Gambling should always be a form of entertainment — never a way to make money, pay off debts, or escape stress.

While we do not operate games or hold player funds ourselves, we take player protection seriously. We aim to feature only Operators that offer responsible-gambling tools, and we set out below how to use them and where to find genuine, independent help.

Gambling is a risk, not an income

The house always has a mathematical edge. A game’s RTP — for example the 96.5% quoted for Wheel Out — is a long-run statistical average, not a promise; over any real session you can and often will lose. Never chase your losses, and never gamble with money you need for essentials such as rent, bills, food or family.

Recognising the signs of problem gambling

Gambling may be becoming a problem if you:

  • spend more time or money than you planned, or more than you can afford;
  • chase losses, trying to win back what you have lost;
  • borrow money, or sell things, in order to gamble;
  • lie to family or friends about how much you gamble;
  • neglect work, study, relationships or your health because of gambling;
  • feel anxious, guilty or irritable about your gambling; or
  • gamble to escape low mood or stress, and find it hard to stop.

If several of these feel familiar, please consider taking a break and reaching out to one of the support organisations listed below.

Tools to stay in control

Licensed Operators typically offer a range of tools to help you manage your play:

  • Deposit, loss and wager limits — daily, weekly or monthly caps on what you can deposit, lose or stake.
  • Session time limits and reality checks — reminders of how long you have been playing.
  • Cooling-off periods / time-outs — a short break during which you cannot play.
  • Self-exclusion — blocking your access for a longer, fixed period.
  • Account closure — permanently closing your account.

Because we are not an Operator, these tools are set up inside your account at the licensed Operator — usually in a “Responsible Gambling” or account-settings area, or by contacting their support team. We strongly encourage you to set your limits before you start playing.

Practical tips for safer play

  • Decide on a budget and a time limit before you play, and stick to them.
  • Only ever use money you can comfortably afford to lose.
  • Take regular breaks, and never gamble while upset, tired or under the influence.
  • Treat any win as a bonus, not as income — and never as a way to solve money problems.
  • Use the free Wheel Out demo to enjoy the game without risking any money.

Self-exclusion and blocking tools

Self-exclusion at an Operator blocks your access for a period you choose, and is binding for that period. India does not currently have a single national self-exclusion scheme, so for players in India the main options are Operator-level self-exclusion and device-level blocking software.

Blocking software works across many sites and devices, independently of any Operator:

  • Gamban (gamban.com) — blocks access to gambling sites and apps on your devices.
  • GamBlock (gamblock.com) — gambling-blocking software.
  • BetBlocker (betblocker.org) — a free tool to restrict access to gambling sites.
  • Net Nanny — broader parental-control and content-filtering software.

For players covered by UK-licensed sites, the national self-exclusion scheme GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk) blocks access to those operators.

Preventing underage gambling

Gambling is strictly for adults aged 18 or over (or older, where your state requires it). Gambling by minors is both illegal and harmful.

  • Keep your devices and accounts secure and out of reach of anyone under 18.
  • Use parental-control and blocking software (such as Net Nanny or Gamban) and your device’s built-in controls if children share your device.
  • Never let a minor use your gambling accounts, and store payment details safely.

We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use this Website.

Where to get help

These are real, independent organisations that offer free, confidential support:

  • Gambling Therapy (gamblingtherapy.org) — free online support and advice for players worldwide, including in India, available in several languages.
  • Gamblers Anonymous (gamblersanonymous.org) — a free fellowship with in-person and online meetings, including groups in India.
  • BeGambleAware (begambleaware.org) — information, self-assessment tools and support (UK-based, with resources accessible internationally).
  • GamCare (gamcare.org.uk) — advice, live chat and the National Gambling Helpline (UK).

If you, or someone you know, are in immediate crisis or distress, please contact your local emergency services or a mental-health helpline in your country straight away.

Take an honest self-assessment

If you are unsure whether your gambling is still healthy, take an honest look at it. Organisations such as BeGambleAware and GamCare offer free, confidential self-tests. If in doubt, take a break — the game will still be there later.

How we can help

We cannot set limits or self-exclude on your behalf, because we are a review website and not an Operator. But if you have questions about responsible gambling or about the tools a particular Operator offers, email us at support@wheelout and we will point you in the right direction, without judgement.

If gambling has stopped being fun, please step away and reach out to one of the organisations above.
